Autumn

Autumn is my favorite season and it is also the season that biggest of the small ones, Cadence, was born.  

SICK

as most of us know the swine flue has been going around. And of course ocean is a victim. So he has staid home for 8 hole days. It is likely that half of America will get the flue by Christmas and so of course I have started to get the bug, wich means bye bye school and hello home.   

Back to school!

The end of the summer has come and now it's back to busy school for us.  I'm in Opal Three which is 4th & 5th grade, I'm in 5th and it is my last year. I have to new teachers Levia and Erin. today was so fun we had a 45 minute outdoor break!

This week my entire family went camping on elk lake.

there were twenty six people in all it was so much fun!

it was freezing in the morning and one day it rained but that can't stop the fun!

 batchi  ball was a big part of it along with swimming and water wars with random kids I met at the camp site. My two best friends and there parents came and that was super!

one long month

I am so sorry I haven't  written in such along time. I will try to make it up to you in this entry...

THE fourth of July was so fun! We got the basic but fun fire works at one of the stands in Tillamook. Then we went to the beach for the show. It was like being in the middle of D day! Teenagers FINALLY gave up being safe and turned to ROMAN CANDLE WARFARE! Plus it was super foggy so it made every thing more confusing.  Here's a  picture...

A memory of school

As I am now an older in my class I would like to look back on Kinder garden and first,second and third grade...

On the way back from the coast we pulled over so cadence could nurse what we didn't know was what we would find up that little camping/ATV/fishing road...

I   had a wonderful time at the coast this week so many things happened I can't explain but I might

we went to a school may pole dance it was really fun.  it was what anyone would imagine a Fairy dance to be like

Last week we were going to the coast when Cadence started to cry we pulled over to a gravely pull off,naturally me and Ocean and papa decided to go exploring,this is what we found.

 

my speech

this week I did a speech for my historical fiction piece,

we made dioramas for the showing.  Before my speech I was nervous.  The speech below is not of my actual life, but of my character.

I have seen my father being dragged from home, his family and almost his life.  And he went, he went to fight for oil, all for oil.  And I didn't want him to leave, but did I have a say?

Did papa even have a say?

And why, why do we kill for peace and slaughter innocent people to find one?  What if we didn't?

What if we had peace?

And education is the key to peace, for peace is not just no war, it is no violent acts for peace.

Because every time a bullet flies a young mind is broken a part by fear, fear of losing something he can grasp to hold onto in the dark.

If you look at any time in history any place in the world you can see a family being torn into the rainy tornado of war.  This tornado has torn a part my family and many others.

To feel empathy for anyone you must look at two sides of things even though one side is hidden and to decide one side in not important is a gigantic mistake we have made often, but we haven't catched it so many times it is natural not to see it.  

If war was a crime it would save so many lives, families and minds.

The concept of war is often looked over differently than it should.  It is either "war is necessary" or "war is horrible"   I agree with both at different times.

War is sometimes necessary, but couldn't it be our last resort?

Couldn't we vote yes or no?  Unless we were actively attacked?

How else could it be?

this is me!

Cadence took his first bite!

after I upload the photos onto my computer I will make them public.

He was confused at first,then sad,then horrified at his new discovery, then happy,then he really really liked it,

and after that he was pretty much delighted!

I got feed him a few times and he liked that a lot.

today we are feeding Cadence his first bit of food I am really happy

for him. Cadence is my 6Th month old baby brother who is the sweetest little thing in the world (In my opinion).We are making him a sweet potato and breast milk mix
